Objective

To establish limits on the use of credit card payments for energy bills.

Policy

To protect the financial interests of the cooperative, the Board has set a five thousand dollar ($5,000) limit on consumers using a credit card to pay their energy bills. In case of disconnections, the management may, at their discretion, override this limit.

Responsibility

The General Manager is responsible for oversight of this policy. The Board of Directors is responsible to review and adjust this limit as needed.
